About 2SWIFT

2Swift Boards is an innovative electric micromobility brand specializing in all-terrain, two-wheel inline electric boards. Founded by mechanical engineers Andrew Dorman and Mo Al-Raie, and industrialist Dan Moore, the company aims to deliver a unique riding experience that blends the thrill of snowboarding, surfing, and skateboarding. As a subsidiary of the Cleveland-based Dan T. Moore Company, 2Swift leverages a legacy of groundbreaking engineering and real-world innovation, with products designed and assembled in Cleveland, Ohio.

The brand's signature product, the 2Swift Board, is often described as a 'scooter without handlebars' or a 'two-wheeled electric skateboard,' offering a distinctive and engaging ride. It is built with high-quality components, including Molicel P42A lithium-ion cells and VESC-based motor controllers, ensuring performance and reliability. 2Swift emphasizes a 'flow state' riding experience, making it appealing to enthusiasts of various board sports and personal electric vehicles.

2Swift Boards focuses on quality, durability, and innovation, striving to create carving machines that provide an unparalleled sense of freedom and excitement. Their commitment to customer service and a 1-year manufacturer's warranty further underscore their dedication to rider satisfaction.

Warranty & Known Issues

Warranty Terms

2Swift electric skateboards are covered by a 1-year manufacturer's warranty, which covers defects in craftsmanship and materials. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse, misuse, neglect, negligence, accidents, or exposure to water. Any modification of components or tampering with electronics will void the warranty. Perishable items such as wheels/tires, decks, bumpers, and bearings are excluded from the warranty but are available for purchase. The warranty also excludes damage from shipping packaging. If a product defect is discovered within one year of the ship date, customers should contact 2Swift through their website's general inquiries page for return instructions. Warranty coverage can be voided by crashes, water damage (boards are splash-resistant, not waterproof), unauthorized changes to motor controller settings, use of unapproved parts, altered or removed serial numbers, work by unauthorized third parties, or weather-related damage. Boards sold before October 3, 2025, had a 6-month warranty, which was extended to 1 year on that date.

Known Issues

Common issues reported by users include a learning curve, particularly when starting from a standstill, and instability at very low speeds. Some users have noted a lack of 'real suspension,' which can lead to bumpy rides on uneven terrain. The board's weight and bulkiness can also make it challenging to carry, for instance, up and down stairs. Additionally, the grippy Jessup Ultra grip tape, while effective, can make it difficult to reposition one's foot without lifting it completely off the board.
