Warranty & Known Issues

Warranty Terms

PUNK Electric offers a 12-month limited warranty on its scooters. The warranty is not transferable, meaning it only applies to the original owner. Claims for defective products are not accepted if the defect results from modifications made by the customer or third parties. The warranty does not cover water damage, and using the scooter in heavy rain or snow is not recommended. Fraudulent behavior, including bank chargebacks or misleading the support team, may void the warranty. Returns for unopened and unused items are accepted within 15 days, subject to a 15% restocking fee and the customer covering shipping costs. Products must be returned in their original box.

Known Issues

Commonly reported issues for PUNK Electric scooters, particularly the Rider Pro, include a stiff rubber suspension system that may not absorb bumps effectively, loud beeping from buttons, and potential issues with the footrest mat coming unglued or the rear folding hook. Some users have experienced the stem becoming loose over time. Early models or firmware might lack a zero-start feature, requiring a kick to engage the motor. There have also been reports of poor customer service experiences, including slow response times and issues with repairs, with some users having to pay for shipping for warranty claims. Range can be significantly reduced when riding at higher speeds.
