Warranty & Known Issues
Warranty Terms
EVOLV Rides offers a limited warranty to the original purchaser, covering defects in material and workmanship for twelve (12) months or 3000 km, whichever comes first. The warranty covers specific components including the hub motor, battery packs, controller, throttle, charger, frame, stem, LED lights, and electrical wiring. Certain components like rims, brake calipers, discs, kickstand, and forks are covered only if defects are reported within the first 30 days or 10 KM of use. The warranty is non-transferable and does not cover issues arising from normal wear and tear, modification, abuse, accidents, disassembly, improper operation, or liquid damage. Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with transporting the scooter to and from service centers for warranty repairs.
Known Issues
Some users have reported that the EVOLV Pro-R can be jerky at low speeds in its highest speed mode and that the tires can be noisy. The trigger throttles used on some models are not preferred by all riders. The solid rear tire on models like the EVOLV City can result in a bumpier ride compared to pneumatic tires. The EVOLV Tour XL-R has been noted for a relatively long recharge time of 6.5 to 9 hours.
