Warranty & Known Issues
Warranty Terms
E-TWOW scooters are warranted against defects in manufacturing materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. The battery warranty is typically 9 months or 1200 miles, whichever comes first, covering total failure but not reduction in range over time. The warranty is void if the scooter was not purchased from authorized resellers, or if damage results from abuse, accident, modifications (such as removing the speed limiter chip), unauthorized repairs, neglect, water damage, improper operation, maintenance, or storage. Normal depletion of consumable parts (unless due to a defect in materials or workmanship) and commercial use of the scooter also void the warranty. The warranty is generally valid only in the country where the product was bought. For warranty claims, customers should contact the retailer where the product was purchased.
Known Issues
Common user reports indicate that E-TWOW scooters are water resistant (IPX4 rated) but not waterproof, and water damage voids the warranty. Some users have noted that solid tires, while preventing flats, may offer less ride comfort compared to air-filled tires, though suspension helps mitigate this. Early models or specific configurations might have had primitive charging systems or whimsical battery meters, but newer models aim to address these.
