HILEY USA offers a 12-month warranty on manufacturing defects for structural and mechanical components, with the scooter frame having a 24-month warranty. Replacement parts for approved defects are free, but shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Hiley Europe provides a 24-month warranty on components, but only a 1-year warranty on batteries and chargers, with repairs handled at their service center in Poland. Hileyrider.com offers a 6-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Warranties typically do not cover damage from incorrect usage, poor maintenance, unauthorized modifications, use of non-original parts, or acts of nature. Consumable parts like inner tubes, tires, pads, and bearings are generally excluded, with Hiley Europe specifying an exception for defects revealed up to 300km mileage.
Known Issues
Some users have reported issues such as scooters dying after a short period of use (e.g., Hiley T8 Pro after 221 miles), and difficulties with customer service regarding warranty claims from the Chinese manufacturer. There are also mentions of loose handlebars and concerns that solid tires might contribute to frame integrity issues due to vibrations over time.
