Warranty & Known Issues
Warranty Terms
Speedway series scooters come with a 6-month warranty covering manufacturing defects in components such as the motor, battery, controller, LCD, and charger. The warranty explicitly excludes issues arising from lack of cleaning or maintenance, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, exterior damage, water damage, misuse, abuse, self-servicing, or work performed by unauthorized parties. It is a parts-only warranty and is not transferable. Customers must provide proof of purchase, including the model and serial number on a dated sales record, to make a claim.
Known Issues
Common issues reported for Speedway scooters include concerns about weight and unwieldiness when folded (Speedway Leger), the desire for a front brake in addition to the standard rear drum brake for enhanced safety in urban environments (Speedway Leger), and issues with tube tires experiencing frequent punctures (Speedway Leger). Some users have also noted concerns about the overall build quality of the Speedway 5 compared to Dualtron models, particularly regarding its performance in rough terrain or rain, and instances of motor controller failure in single motor mode.
