NANROBOT offers a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects for scooters purchased directly from their official website. The warranty is valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. To claim warranty, customers must provide visual evidence (pictures/videos) of defects to support@nanrobot.com. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, NANROBOT will send replacement parts. For technical issues requiring professional repair during the original warranty period, NANROBOT may provide free service at their repair shops, including a shipping label.
Specific components have varying warranty periods: 45 days for controller, voltage lock, switch button, brake, headlight (for C1, M5/M5 PRO, H1, T1 models); 3 months for throttle, display, battery (for C1, M5/M5 PRO, H1, T1 models); 6 months for motor (for C1, M5/M5 PRO, H1, T1 models). For other models, the warranty can be 3 months for parts like side light stripe, voltage lock, charger, charging port, switch button, front/rear side light, headlight, brake handle, brake disc, kickstand, controller, wheel hub, throttle, and battery, and 24 months for the motor (excluding wire issues). Lifetime warranty is offered on steering arm, footrest, steering column, battery compartment, swingarm, and folding mechanism for LS7+, D6+, LIGHTNING, and N6 models (excluding plastic parts of N6's frame).
The warranty does not cover conditions, malfunctions, or damage caused by incorrect usage, poor maintenance, or unauthorized technical adjustments as advised in the user manual. Extended warranty options are also available for purchase, providing additional coverage after the normal warranty period ends.
Some older Nanrobot D5+ models were reported to have a noisy suspension and cable routing issues where motor wires rubbed against the suspension plate, potentially exposing the sheath. The index-finger pull throttle design, common in many scooters of this style, has been a point of complaint for some users due to its proximity to brake levers, potentially causing confusion for new riders. There have also been reports of speed wobbles at higher speeds, which can sometimes be mitigated by installing a steering stabilizer. Battery issues have been mentioned in older models, with some users reporting battery failure after a few thousand miles.
