Warranty & Known Issues
Warranty Terms
Adult electric scooters and e-bikes with a final sale price of $499 or higher purchased after 11/1/2023 are covered for 2 years. All electric scooters and e-bikes purchased at a price of less than $499 are covered for 1 year. Hoverboards and go-karts have a 90-day warranty. Refurbished products are not covered. The limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship arising from normal and ordinary use. GOTRAX will repair or replace defective products. Exclusions include corrosion, paint fade, scratches, impact damage, and damage from improper use. The warranty for certain parts like the frame, forks, handlebar, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, crank-set, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD, kickstand, reflectors, and hardware only extends one week after receiving the goods. Customers must provide photos or videos of damaged products for claims. Installation fees for repairs and replacement parts are not covered by GOTRAX without prior authorization.
