Warranty & Known Issues
Warranty Terms
EGRET provides a statutory warranty for its e-scooters. However, wearing parts such as tires are excluded from this warranty. Any modifications made to the scooter will void the warranty and the operating license. For some models, a guarantee of 600 charging cycles within 2 years with a remaining capacity of 70% is provided, assuming intended use. Repairs should ideally be performed by authorized dealers or the company's workshop to maintain warranty validity.
Known Issues
Users have reported issues with OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware update delays, which could cause the scooter to turn off during updates. New e-scooters are shipped with tires not fully inflated to prevent damage during transport, requiring users to inflate them before the first ride. Some models, like the Egret GT, require manual installation of the front wheel, which some users find cumbersome.
