Warranty Terms
Yadea offers a limited warranty for its electric bikes and kick scooters, typically covering manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship. For ebikes purchased from Yadea's online store, the original owner is covered for one year after receipt for the battery, frame, forks, motor, controller, display, throttle, brake, lights, and charger. For electric kick scooters, main parts like the frame assembly, hub motor, and controller generally have a 1-year warranty in Americas, Asia, Africa, and Oceania, and 2 years in Europe. General parts like the battery and charger usually have a 6-month warranty, while wearing parts have a 3-month warranty.
Warranty claims require the product to be purchased from an authorized reseller, retention of the original purchase receipt, and a legible serial number. Damages caused by unauthorized repair, modification, unofficial parts, abuse (e.g., overloading, extreme riding), or man-made factors (e.g., soaking, puncturing, crash) are excluded. The warranty also voids if the product is used for commercial purposes. Warranty service must be performed by authorized Yadea dealers.
