Warranty Terms
ISINWHEEL offers a 1-year warranty for electric scooters on non-consumable parts and a 6-month warranty on consumable parts such as the battery, motor, controller, dashboard, charger, and shock absorber. Electric bikes come with a 2-year warranty on non-consumable parts and a 12-month warranty on consumable parts including the battery, motor, controller, dashboard, throttle, charger, mudguards, and pedals.
The warranty covers original defects in material and workmanship under normal use. It includes the cost of labor and parts for repairs within the warranty period. Warranty exemptions include damage from improper use (e.g., exceeding speed limits, overloading, prolonged rain exposure, water immersion), misuse, neglect, failure to follow the user manual, products purchased from unauthorized retailers, use of non-original parts, or modifications by unauthorized personnel. Accessories purchased separately are generally not covered.
Known Issues
Users have reported issues such as short range, weak power, motor overheating, and problems with the companion app connecting. Other common mechanical issues include brake noise, ineffective braking, tire damage, and loose stems, often attributed to transportation shifts or wear.
Customer service experiences have been a point of concern for some users, with complaints about difficulties in processing returns, slow responses, and challenges in obtaining warranty support or replacement parts. Recall History
ISINWHEEL issued a recall in 2021 for its E9T electric scooter (product code B10320020012800433) due to a serious fire risk. The recall was initiated because the folding handlebars, which have sharp edges, could shear the wiring connected to the fully charged lithium-ion battery, potentially causing the circuit to combust and catch fire. This product did not meet the requirements of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2009. Consumers were advised to stop using the product immediately and contact the distributor for redress.
