Warranty Terms

MOTUS electric scooters come with a 2-year warranty. The warranty is provided by Barel Poland Sp. z o.o. and covers manufacturing defects. Repairs under warranty are handled by official service partners, such as RG Media Sp z o.o., free of charge.

The warranty may be voided under several conditions, including: improper use; unauthorized modifications, disassembly, or repairs; accidental damage or malfunction due to inadequate storage; lack of corresponding warranty or proof of purchase; surface damage; dismantled parts not matching the manual's description; and damage or malfunction resulting from long rides in rain, wet conditions, or dusty surfaces. Mechanical damage and wear parts, such as punctured tires, are typically not covered by the warranty but can be repaired for a fee by authorized service centers.

Known Issues

Users have reported several common issues with MOTUS electric scooters. These include frequent flat tires, particularly with the front air chamber. Brake-related problems are also noted, such as ineffective braking, the presence of only a single disk brake, and the need for frequent adjustments. Some users have experienced turn signals ceasing to function. At higher speeds, some models may exhibit 'death wobbles'. An 'E5 error' has been reported, often linked to battery issues, and warranty can be voided if moisture ingress into the battery is detected. Additionally, loose suspension and folding mechanisms have been identified as potential problems.
