JOYOR offers a limited warranty covering defects in new devices. For electric parts (display, controller, motor, charger), the warranty period is generally 24 months after the first retail purchase. The battery typically has a 12-month or 2000 km warranty, whichever comes first. In Spain, the warranty period for electric parts is extended to 36 months. For models sold in the German market (Y8-S ABE and S5 ABE), a 1-year warranty applies to all electrical parts, including the battery.
The warranty is valid only for consumers purchasing from an authorized JOYOR retailer or reseller and extends to the original purchaser only, being non-transferable. It does not cover issues arising from commercial use, accident, abuse, neglect, shock, heat or humidity beyond product specifications, improper installation, operation, maintenance, or unauthorized modification. Physical damages, incomplete/broken cable connections, consumable wearing fittings, and damage from misuse or use in wet conditions are also excluded. Claims require proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product. The warranty is void if the product was modified or repaired by unauthorized technicians, or if labels are removed/tampered with. It is valid only in the place of initial purchase and does not cover shipping costs from/to islands without land transport.
