Warranty & Known Issues
Warranty Terms
Hover-1 products come with a limited parts and labor warranty for manufacturer defects. The warranty period for hoverboards, e-scooters, e-bikes, buggy attachments, and rideables is generally 90 days from the date of purchase, though some e-scooters may have a 6-month warranty. The warranty covers defects to components like the motor, gyroscopic sensor, battery, motherboards, lights, controller, and Bluetooth module. It is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and products bought from authorized Hover-1 retailers. A valid receipt or gift receipt is required for claims. The warranty is voided by physical abuse, improper installation, unauthorized modification or repair. Hover-1 reserves the right to repair or replace defective products at its discretion. Extended warranties are handled by the retailer of purchase. Water damage is not covered and renders the item non-repairable and a fire hazard.
Known Issues
Common complaints include poor customer service and warranty support, issues with products breaking down quickly, throttle sticking, E4 errors, battery draining quickly, and display malfunctions. Some users report difficulties with app connectivity and receiving defective or used units.
