Warranty Terms
OOTD provides a two-year warranty covering manufacturing defects for new scooters purchased directly from their website or shop. Proof of purchase is required, and unauthorized repairs or modifications will void the warranty. The warranty process prioritizes a 'parts-first' approach, where OOTD ships replacement parts free of charge and provides remote installation guidance. A full scooter return for repair is considered only if replacement parts cannot resolve the defect. Shipping damage must be reported within 14 days of arrival, with a recommended reporting time of 7 days. The warranty does not cover second-hand products, those from third-party resellers, modified or poorly maintained products, normal wear and tear (e.g., tires, brakes), water damage, or issues caused by accident, misuse, neglect, theft, or cosmetic damage.
Known Issues
Some users have reported that the OOTD T10's stem can twist if not tightened sufficiently. The mechanical brakes on the T10 have been noted as not being as effective as hydraulic brakes, with some users suggesting upgrades. The T10 model may also struggle on uphills for heavier riders. For the S10 model, a Reddit user mentioned that the throttle trigger broke after a fall. There was also a discussion regarding whether the S10 tires are truly tubeless, with conflicting user reports.
