ANGWATT scooters generally come with a warranty covering main parts like the motor, battery, and controller for 12 months. Functional parts such as the charger, lights, brake device, and accelerator are typically covered for 3 months. Appearance parts like paint, logo, stickers, and mudguards usually have no warranty, except for damage during transportation if reported within 3 days of receipt.
The warranty does not cover damage due to improper use (e.g., violent use, overload, impact), water ingress (scooters should not be used in rainy weather), or modifications. Battery capacity decline of 30% within one year may be eligible for after-sales maintenance, but issues caused by long-term non-charging or water in the battery compartment are excluded. Customers are advised to contact the seller for warranty service. Local repair stations are available in Europe, including one in the Czech Republic.
Some ANGWATT models, particularly the C1, have been reported to exhibit instability at high speeds, making riders nervous. The F1 model has received comments about being a 'cheaply built parts-bin scooter' that might require DIY maintenance, such as re-greasing axles. Speedometer inaccuracy has also been noted on the F1, showing higher speeds than actual GPS measurements. Additionally, some users have reported issues with components like lights breaking off due to flimsy design and overly harsh regenerative braking settings out of the box.
