Warranty & Known Issues
Warranty Terms
SIMATE hoverboards typically come with a 90-day manufacturer's warranty, covering faulty parts and manufacturing defects. This warranty generally excludes damage caused by general wear and tear, misuse, water damage, chassis/frame damage, damaged or loose charger ports/pins, electronic damage due to improper charger voltage, crash or accidental damage (such as scratches), and issues with accessories like chargers, RGB LED light bars, Bluetooth, and Bluetooth speakers. Customers must report damaged items within 7 days of receipt. For returns, products must be in their original condition and unused, and authorized by customer service.
Known Issues
Common issues reported on Simate-branded hoverboards, as listed on the Simateboard website, include the red light being on (often resolved by calibration), hoverboard vibrating when dismounting, improper charging, locked wheels, failure to turn on, continuous beeping and failure to turn off, unresponsive halves, water damage (which voids warranty), balance issues, and the hoverboard not moving. These are general hoverboard problems and not necessarily specific manufacturing defects of SIMATE products.
